MISSION

GRACE is a Gospel-centered church committed to mission. Mission is a right response to the Gospel, but it is not the Gospel itself. God’s mission is worked out very simply; we are called to be faithful in our everyday lives by loving our family and friends, loving our neighbors and loving our co-workers who do not live in line with the Gospel. With our words and our deeds we show others there is a different way to be human. It’s what happens when you come under the reign and rule of Jesus Christ. Heartfelt joy in God through Christ leads us to a love and delight to live according to the will of God in all God’s works.

GLOBAL

GRACE supports missionaries and ministries in countries around the world.

Susan Holowecky, Yurimaguas, Peru

Susan is one of Missionary Venture's long-term missionaries called a Field Coordinator. She is a bridge between the home base and the field. She facilitates the development of responsible indigenous Christian leadership and assists Christian leaders by enabling them to start ministries and outreaches to their own people such as Feeding Centers, Orphanages, Christian Schools and Clinics. Susan does this by hosting short-term mission teams, pioneering projects and ministries, and administrating in-country projects, programs and support. She has done ground breaking work among the Chayahita Indians and has pioneered a Maternal Care Center and a Farm Program which teaches agriculture. The farm has expanded to include a fish farm and a new cocoa growing project for the Shawi's. The cocoa project has the potential to be a solid source of badly needed income in this district, which is the 3rd poorest in all of Peru. Missionary Ventures International MVI is an interdenominational organization. Working with individuals and churches to bring the love and message of Christ to hurting people, MVI channels resources for the development of churches, schools, Feeding Centers, orphanages, clinics and hospitals in over thirty countries. Through sponsorship, indigenous Christian leaders are trained and equipped to establish ministries in their local communities. MVI is governed by a board of directors and accountable through donor receipts, monthly reports and newsletters.

Commissioned Beyond Borders - Buddy Walker

CBB is an international ministry formed to recruit workers, channel funding and resources, network leaders and promote saturation leadership training, evangelism and church planting movements that impact cities and nations. Bethany Evangelical Mission - Les Cayes, Haiti Ignace & Franchette Augustin founded Bethanie Evangelical Mission in 1975 in Les Cayes Haiti. The Mission exists to show the Haitian people that God loves them very much. The ministries of the Mission are to build schools and churches, to dig wells, start feeding programs and disciple young Haitian men and women. Haitians are eager to embrace the Gospel of Jesus Christ as they see their voodoo religion failing them.

Pastor Luc St. Felix, Haiti

Pastor Luc was targeted for being an infant sacrifice for voodoo rituals. He became sick after a life threatening encounter with a witch doctor, and stayed sick until his parents were told that only Jesus could heal (they had tried witchcraft). They prayed to Jesus on his behalf, and he was healed. Pastor Luc learned early on that in his country of Haiti, there is often no choice but to depend on God - nothing else exists. He firmly believes that our God is faithful to do what He has said. He has helped plant and build numerous churches and schools and has established several feeding programs. He pastors a church and also organizes seminars & conferences for Haitian pastors to be trained and encouraged.
